These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase, supply, and use of digital products and physical fine art prints from bobede.art. By completing a purchase on this website, you agree to these terms in full.

1. General Provisions & Contact

This website is operated by Bob Ede. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to the artist. If you need to contact us regarding an order, delivery, or technical issue, please email bobede1951@gmail.com.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

2. Product Standards & Specifications

A. Digital Downloads

All digital artworks are provided as high-quality JPEG files designed for fine art reproduction. While the majority of files maintain a comprehensive resolution of 6000px on the longest side, some curated pieces—specifically those involving vintage subjects, heavily weathered elements, or specific "isolated" textures—may have a lower native resolution to preserve their specific artistic character.

We guarantee that all digital files are suitable for high-quality printing up to A3 size without loss of aesthetic integrity.

B. Limited Edition Physical Prints

Where physical prints are purchased directly from this store, they are produced by the artist as small-run limited editions.

  • Authentication: Each physical print is individually numbered, signed, and accompanied by a formal Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) verifying its place in the limited edition run.

  • Presentation & Framing: To ensure safe transit and straightforward framing by the customer, each print is supplied professionally fitted within an accompanying window mount (matt) and a rigid backing board. The unit is ready to be placed directly into a standard frame size corresponding to the mount dimensions specified on the product page.

  • Care & Display: Fine art prints are produced using archival-quality inks and papers. To preserve the vibrant colours and prevent fading, prints should be framed behind glass (UV-protective glass is recommended) and kept out of direct, intense sunlight.

3. Prices and Payment

  • All prices displayed on the website are in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of checkout via our integrated secure payment gateways (Squarespace Payments/Stripe).

  • For digital items, an automated email containing a unique link to download your digital artwork will be dispatched instantly upon successful payment.

  • For physical prints, your order confirmation will be emailed immediately, followed by tracking details once dispatched.

4. Shipping & Delivery (Physical Prints)

  • Dispatch Time: As physical prints are prepared, checked, and assembled with mounts and backboards by hand, please allow up to [3 to 5] working days for dispatch.

  • Carriers: We ship within the UK using reliable tracked services via Royal Mail or DHL.

  • Damage in Transit: We take immense care packaging prints flat and secure. However, if your print or mount arrives damaged, you must contact us at bobede1951@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damaged packaging and product. We will arrange a replacement or a refund in accordance with Section 5.

5. Cancellation, Refunds, and Returns

A. Digital Downloads (No Returns)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, the standard 14-day statutory right of cancellation does not apply to digital content once the performance/download has begun. By purchasing a digital download from bobede.art and clicking the download link, you acknowledge that you waive your statutory right to a 14-day cancellation window. If a file is technically corrupt, we will replace it or issue a refund if it cannot be fixed.

B. Physical Limited Edition Prints (14-Day Return Window)

In accordance with UK online consumer laws, you have the right to change your mind and return a physical print purchase within 14 days of delivery.

  • Conditions for Return: Because these are delicate, limited-edition art pieces, they must be returned to us in pristine, resalable condition, completely unaltered, and inside their original protective wrapping along with the Certificate of Authenticity (CoA).

  • Return Costs: The buyer is responsible for paying the return postage costs. We strongly advise using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot issue a refund if the print is lost or damaged on its journey back to us.

  • Limited Edition Replacement Expiry: Because our prints are strictly limited editions, if a print is lost or damaged in transit to you, we can only issue an exact replacement if the edition run has not sold out. If the edition is full, a complete refund or an alternative print selection will be offered.

6. Usage & Copyright (Intellectual Property)

All digital images, physical prints, designs, and text on this website are protected by UK and international copyright laws. The copyright of all artwork remains exclusively with Bob Ede.

Whether you purchase a digital download or a physical limited-edition print:

  • The purchase grants you a Personal Use License only (to display the artwork in your home or office).

  • You may not resell, redistribute, or share the artwork.

  • You may not use the artwork for any commercial purpose, including commercial advertising, digital media reproduction, or on products intended for resale (such as apparel or merchandise) without express written contractual permission from the artist.

7. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this website, third-party framing delays, or variations in print colors caused by differences in computer monitor calibrations.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
